Miri has been working in the EFL field for the past 15 years in Israel. She has taught elementary school, junior high school and is presently teaching at the college level. She has been a teacher counselor for over 7 years, which included follow-up with individual teachers in their classrooms as well as giving in-service workshops for practicing teachers. She has been a pre-service teacher trainer for the past 4 years including in-field practice follow-up with her students. She specializes in teaching writing and literacy as well as the incorporation of computers in the classroom and has helped many teachers create a program which integrates the two. She has written a course book and the teacher’s guide for grade six EFL in Israel. She received her Masters from the University of London in which she designed a program for teaching EFL/ESL to young learners. She has been a certified EFL/ESL teacher in Israel since 1989.
In her free time, Miri enjoys spending time with her family and reading to her children. She is married and has three children, two boys and a girl. All her children love to cook and bake together with her and most Saturdays are spent in the kitchen preparing something tasty. She enjoys her early morning walks with her dog and surfing the Internet when she has a free moment (which is rare).
