Sarah has experience in teaching and administration. She has worked with students of ESL of all different levels and ages. She has been the Director of an American language program in Spain and has experience teaching ESL in the US and Spain. She also worked as a teacher trainer for the MA in TESOL program at American University in Washington DC and as a freelance materials editor for an online English school. She is interested in teaching with technology and has lead workshops and published research on integrating technology into the curriculum.

Sarah is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Mexico and Spain. Sarah also has extensive experience teaching Spanish, including five years as a full-time instructor and coordinator at American University in Washington DC.

Sarah is interested in how children and adults learn languages. Her four-year-old daughter, who is Spanish and American, teaches her something new about language acquisition everyday. Sarah lives in Seville, Spain with her husband and daughter.
