Hari (short for Harunori ) Miyagi is a native English-speaker with an Asian-American background. He is the Assistant Director of the International Center at Snow College. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Near Eastern Studies and a minor in Arab Studies. He completed his MA in Second Language Teaching at Utah State University. Hari is currently working on his PHD in Instructional Technology and Second Language Acquisition. In addition to teaching English in the United States, he has also taught in Asia and in the Middle East.

Hari currently lives in the United States where he teaches English as a Second Language, Linguistics, and Japanese. In addition to working with international students he enjoys reading, research, and computer programming.
